The Academy of Medical Sciences is seeking applications for Newton International Fellowship.

Newton International Fellowship is offered under the Newton Fund , which aims to develop the long term sustainable economic growth and welfare of partner countries through building research and innovation capacity.

Newton International Fellowships support early career international researchers from partner countries to undertake research in clinical or patient-oriented research at a host university or research institution in the UK.

Applications are welcome from applicants based in China and India. 

Fellowships are for two years, and include stipend, research costs, and basic relocation costs. Applicants should have no more than 7 years active full time postdoctoral experience at the time of application.

The closing date is 9 March 2016.
